Training and Presentation : French Professional Title – BIM Coordinator


Purpose of the Process

In order to certify my skills in BIM methodology, I sought to obtain the Professional Title of BIM Coordinator, a state-certified title registered in the National Directory of Professional Certifications since 2019.


Work presented

The defense was based on:

  • My previous professional experiences (particularly at Dubuisson Architecture).
  • The BIM Coordinator training provided by the Arsenio organization, in a 3-month bootcamp format.
  • A BIM audit conducted for the Fabre / Speller Architects agency as an external consultant.

The final written report presented to the jury in March 2023.


Job description

In a continuous improvement context, the BIM Coordinator ensures the proper implementation of charters, methods, and protocols on BIM-driven projects. They ensure the ongoing enrichment of the digital model, acting as a guarantor of its quality, thereby contributing to optimal project execution and the achievement of the company’s objectives.

They stay constantly informed about software and hardware developments in an ever-evolving digital environment. Proficient in modeling techniques, they assist and guide BIM modelers in their production activities, supporting them in mastering dedicated tools and enhancing their technical skills.

The BIM Coordinator is entrusted with project management and team coordination tasks within the BIM framework.
